ASICS Novablast GS Junior Running Shoes
The NOVABLAST GS (Grade School) shoe is the kid's version of the iconic NOVABLAST series. It features an energetic bounce underfoot that's inspired by the feeling of jumping on a trampoline. Created using a kid's-specific last, these shoes offer a more accommodating fit for growing feet. With a solid rubber outsole and medial wrap-up, these shoes improve durability.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The double-engineered jacquard mesh upper is designed to wrap the foot like a second skin. FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
The Novablast running shoe's energetic underfoot ride comes from its one-piece FlyteFoam Blast midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Novablast is made up of multiple compounds to bring a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. FlyteFoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used in the Novablast because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing them to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect from unnecessary stress and fatigue. AHAR Rubber Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows the wearer to stay in full control at all times.
