Engineered Mesh Upper

Engineered mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Lightweight and highly breathable for all-temperature comfort, the mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its perforated construction allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. Utilising recycled contents, the collar and tongue of the Gel-Kayano Lite 3 Running Shoes help make the additional steps to ASICS' lightening their environmental impact. Not only this, but the collar and tongue will reduce irritation or chafing from occurring, and keep the shoes comfortable and secure on your feet. A lacing system increases midfoot support to ensure a dynamic fit for all-day comfort. Finally, the uppers include reflective detailing, to enhance visibility when training in low light conditions.

At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.

FlyteFoam Midsole

To provide you with a soft, cushioned midsole, the Gel-Kayano Lite 3's have a FlyteFoam compound, a lightweight foam formulation, with high energy return. The lightweight foam construction works to reduce drag, allowing you to run faster for longer, whilst elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it.

To assist the shoes in providing improved performance, and a comfortable ride, the shoes also include GEL technology which has exceptional shock absorbing technique. A 3D Space Construction feature helps to improve compression during footstrike, and is a feature that addresses the gait differences of male and female runners. This is designed to reduce overpronation, keeping your foot supported. The Ortholite lasting improves your step-in comfort and durability, whilst the Guidance Line technology assists your gait efficiency. The sockliner present is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

AHAR Outsole

Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot, the grooves allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces. An impact guidance system exists underfoot to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel-strike to toe-off. The guidance line exists to enhance gait efficiency while increasing the shoe's torsional rigidity to prevent it from twisting. Completing the outsole is a trusstic system that reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
