ASICS Sky Elite FF 2 Women's Indoor Court Shoes
The Sky Elite FF 2 volleyball shoe helps you experience powerful jumps, allowing your game and mind to reach new heights. Specifically created with the attacker in mind, these shoes help reduce energy loss when setting up for a spike. The curved heel design allows you to smoothly cut towards the net by creating an easier forward transition.
Breathable Mesh Upper
Surrounding the upper of the Sky Elite FF, there is a breathable mesh. As you begin to exercise, and your activity intensifies, the warm air that builds up within the shoe is able to escape out efficiently and effectively. This process will work constantly to keep you feeling constantly ventilated and at a comfortable temperature. Moisture is also able to escape out of the material, so as you begin to sweat, this will instantly be removed for comfort. Thicker material covers the forefoot and heel, providing strength and protection to the feet. The heel is further secured with a counter which will absorb heavy forces that are put on the heel. A traditional lacing system will allow you to find a secure and comfortable fit every time. A soft and padded tongue will also mean that comfort is guaranteed throughout the course of a match. Within the shoe, there is an Ortholite sockliner, which will provide you with extra cushioning as well as effective moisture management. DYNAWARP technology improves stability during side-to-side movements so that you can play with confidence and a curved heel shape allows you to cut in more smoothly and set yourself up for a more powerful jump on the court.
FlyteFoam Propel Midsole
Designed to provide lightweight cushioning, the midsole of the Sky Elite 2 has been constructed with a thicker midsole and layered with ASICS' signature FlyteFoam Propel cushioning. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, and for longer without the worry that your shoes might not be able to take it. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Propel technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam Propel as explained above has all the features and benefits that you already love about the innovative technology but brings together lightweight foam with high energy return elastomer for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-off, allowing you to get better performances out of every stride. This FlyteFoam Propel technology allows you to experience more underfoot comfort and higher jumps. Completing the midsole is TWISTRUSS technology that increases jumping force whilst GEL technology cushioning works to provide excellent shock absorption to reduce the risk of injury.
NC Rubber Outsole
The outsole boasts using an NC Rubber high abrasion-resistant outsole, which will prevent damage and wear caused by rubbing against the court. This will mean that the shape and definition of the outsole will be retained over a long period. The rubber is also able to form a solid connection to the court, providing you with supreme control, traction and grip. Additionally, the outsole has multi-directional grooves which will further anchor the feet to the ground. These flexion grooves have been made wider on the Sky Elite FF 2 to offer better flexibility in the outsole so that you can move more freely. Lastly, a wider lateral forefoot gauge works with the TWISTRUSS technology and DYNAWRAP lacing system to increase jumping force.
