Knit Upper

The Gel-Cumulus 21 features a soft knit upper with a sockliner for a comfortable, sock-like fit that moulds to the shape of your foot. The flexible upper provides and comfortable fit and personalised feel whilst also feeling gentle against the skin. This soft knit is breathable for fresh feeling and smelling feet. An internal heel counter holds your foot in position for additional support during your run and the traditional lacing system locks down the foot for great stability and control.

Flytefoam Propel Midsole

Featuring two midsole foams, one for lightweight softness and another that adds more spring to your step. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Propel technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam Propel has all the features and benefits that you already love about the innovative technology but brings together lightweight foam with high-energy return elastomer for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-off, allowing you to get better performances out of every stride. Lastly, the midsole boasts a Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel Technology Cushioning System that works endlessly to absorb shock and impact forces that run through the body with every step.

AHAR Outsole

Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. As well as this it can create a strong bond with any ground beneath it, helping you stay in full control. Over the heel, there is an AHAR plug technology where the material is thicker and ultimately tougher, which is a particularly vulnerable area as it is the first ground contact point. A Guidance Line runs the length of the outsole to help disperse energy evenly when stretched, increasing stability. Lastly, I.G.S Technology employs linked componentry to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.
