Synthetic Leather Upper

Designed to provide durable comfort, the upper of the ASICS Gel-Peake 2 Junior Hockey Shoes has been constructed using synthetic leather overlays. The upper ensures excellent protection allowing your little one to gain the maximum from their footwear. The soft, durable leather ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving them with a shoe they can truly rely on. Perforations are present through the upper to provide ventilation so that little feet won't overheat. The perforations allow cool air to flow throughout whilst, allowing hot humid air to escape, creating the perfect microclimate for feet to thrive. Reinforcement panels at the sides offer better midfoot support. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

FLYTEFOAM Propel Midsole

Using ASICS' FLYTEFOAM Propel technology, the Gel-Peake 2 GS will deliver feet with an added spring to their step. Generous, soft and durable, it spares joints when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Not only this, but the soft, cushioning helps create more powerful jumps, and softer landings allowing little feet to enjoy every minute. Exceptionally lightweight, the foam ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep little ones comfortable, whilst also reducing drag and improves toe-off to keep feet moving naturally and more comfortably. Finally, the midsole utilises ASICS' signature Rearfoot GEL technology which improves shock absorption, therefore helping to reduce shock or injury from harsh landings and abrupt braking, providing little feet with a comfortable hockey shoe.

AHARPLUS Rubber Outsole

The Gel-Peake 2 GS has supreme grip and traction thanks to the AHARPLUS outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Strategically positioned in critical areas of the outsole, this exceptionally durable compound is 50% more durable than standard ASICS High Abrasion Rubber to ensure complete protection and durability. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot, the grooves allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces.
