ASICS GT-1000 13 Paris Running Shoes
ASICS' approach for the GT-1000 13 Paris was to modernise the shoe with more support and elevated cushioning. This colourway is inspired by "the city of lights" and its energising tones at sunrise and sunset. This design features a 3D Guidance System to help increase stability for a more balanced stride.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper of the ASICS GT-1000 13 has been created with an engineered mesh that works with the natural movement of your foot while providing a comfortable locked-in feel. The breathable mesh allows air to circulate the upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out built-up heat, creating the perfect microclimate for feet to thrive. An OrthoLite Hybrid Max sockliner blends 5% recycled rubber and 15% production waste foam to provide instant step-in comfort and a tongue wing construction helps create a more supportive fit. An external back counter further helps to improve the fit whilst also helping to increase stability. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage for distraction-free strides.
FlyteFoam Midsole
A FlyteFoam midsole unit has been used to provide underfoot comfort. The foam has been designed to absorb shocks instantly as you strike down on the unforgiving ground, by doing so this reduces the stress and strain placed on your feet and joints, minimising the risk of injury. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag, allowing you to run faster whilst providing a high energy return for increased bounce and letting you run for longer. Furthering comfort and impact absorption, ASICS has teamed the midsole with rearfoot GEL technology, creating softer landings and smoother transitions. Completing the midsole is a 3D Guidance System which helps provide advanced stability for a smoother stride.
AHAR Rubber Outsole
Supplying durable underfoot traction, the ASICS GT-1000 13 have an AHAR rubber outsole compound. The AHAR compounds will help to improve the durability of the shoes, whilst also ensuring you have a grip on a variety of surfaces. The rubber is lightweight and stronger than standard outsole rubber, due to the bio-based cellulose nanofibre. AHAR LO-HRD also resides in the outsole to help improve the resistance against wear while flex grooves provide added traction and allow for natural foot flexion, providing an easy, unhindered pace.
