ASICS Novablast 2 PS Junior Running Shoes
The NOVABLAST 2 PS (Pre-School) shoe is the kid's version of the iconic NOVABLAST series. It features an energetic bounce underfoot that's inspired by the feeling of jumping on a trampoline.
Engineered Mesh Upper
These ASICS Novablast Junior shoes have been created with an engineered mesh upper designed to wrap the foot like a second skin. The upper provides excellent comfort and support for your little ones with a heel stabiliser that helps to support their foot further and create a more balanced stride. The engineered mesh has a perforated construction that allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your child's feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or their training session heats up. As well as radical ventilation, the double-layer construction delivers a premium fit that improves flexibility and decreases irritation-causing wrinkles (because we know how rubbing and blisters can ruin their day) while maintaining its lightweight. A gusseted tongue wing fit system offers an improved midfoot fit whilst reducing sliding of the tongue. A lacing system increases midfoot support to ensure a dynamic fit for all-day comfort. Finishing the upper is the CUB MATCH™ sockliner that uses a tiger graphic to help kids recognise the left shoe from the right shoe.
FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
The Novablast 2 PS Junior running shoe's energetic underfoot ride comes from its one-piece FlyteFoam Blast midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Novablast 2 is made up of multiple compounds to bring you a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. FlyteFoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used in the Novablast because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Blast technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. A responsive underfoot ride makes the Novablast running shoe feel wispy and fast underfoot.
AHAR Rubber Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times.
