ASICS Hyper MD 8 Running Spikes

The Hyper MD 8 Running Spikes have been crafted to suit the needs of middle-distance runners. This shoe features a lightweight feel and open mesh structure that helps improve ventilation. It also incorporates a no-sew film for added reinforcement while creating a comfortable fit.

Open Mesh Upper

Providing feet with outstanding levels of breathable comfort, the Hyper MD 8 utilises an open mesh upper. The mesh features strategic perforations to allow a constant supply of air to flow freely, keeping things lightweight and feet feeling cool. The improved ventilation means that feet are refrained from overheating, keeping things at an optimum level of comfort. Incorporated into the upper's construction are no-sew overlays, which help to reduce irritation and abrasion from occurring against your feet whilst also assisting with the structure of the shoes and enhancing durability. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which provides feet with a locked-in secure fit, helping to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

EVA Midsole

An EVA midsole resides underfoot to provide feet with enhanced comfort, stability and excellent cushioning. The midsole will work to reduce injuries and discomfort by absorbing shock and reducing impact from striking down on track surfaces for a comfortable, enjoyable running experience. A sockliner also features to provide feet with extra cushioning and step-in comfort.

Five-Pin Spike Outsole

Providing you with a stable platform and excellent grip for track and field running, the Hyper MD 8 has a five-pin spike plate. The pins feature on the forefoot to provide a great level of grip on the ground below, as well as, provide you with an excellent platform for propelling you forward, improving your performance.
