Supportive Upper

The upper of the ASICS Gel-Challenger 14 is designed to provide unbeatable support. It features a PGUARD toe protector to protect the toe box and your feet from abrasion and ensures long-lasting performance. The supportive upper of the shoe keeps your feet locked in on the shoe's platform for a stable ride and comfortable fit. This creates a reinforced feel during volleys or when dropping back to track down deep lob shots. DYNAWING technology has been placed in the sidewall to further help improve stability during side-to-side movements, offering good support and allowing you to step into your shot and stroke the ball with more pace. The traditional lacing system gives that locked-in feel for added confidence and secures the shoe to the foot for improved stability and control. A padded tongue feels comfortable against the skin and protects the foot from lace pressure and an Ortholite sockliner delivers step-in comfort.

The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

AHARPLUS Outsole

Complete with an AHARPLUS outsole, the Gel-Challenger 14 offers tough protection, while being light enough to allow comfortable and unrestricted movement on the court. AHARPLUS has 3 times higher abrasion resistance when compared to more conventional rubbers, and is 50% lighter, making it an outstanding choice for anyone looking to raise their game to the next level. While being protective, light, and resistant is very important, the outsole offers the perfect level of grip on the court; it's got enough traction to keep you from slipping and sliding, but will still allow you to be light on your feet. The outsole also has the added benefit of being non-marking, meaning you don't have to worry about causing any damage to the court. The outsole also features a separated heel construction to help you experience better stability during abrupt landings.
