A full length Fastglass spike plate provides torsional rigidity with plenty of energy return. Paired with a seamless closed mesh upper, this spike provides plenty of lockdown as you sprint across the tape. Includes twelve 1/4" pyramid spikes with a spike wrench.
The Sonicsprint running spike from Asics is composed of a seamless upper construction that allows for irritation-free, sockless wear. It provides internal comfort and support while externally a closed mesh on the upper prevents debris from entering the shoe. The mesh also provides the shoe with much needed breathability, by allowing fresh air to diffuse into the shoe and keep the feet cool, dry and comfortable - the perfect conditions for optimum performance. A collar lining also features on the upper and encircles the collar and heel in a soft suede-like material, giving the option to run sockless with reliable internal cushioning.
You'll build speed straight from the starting gun, thanks to the sturdy Fastglass Pebax Plate construction which features a removable 6-pin spike configuration, positioned perfectly to provide the highest traction for your strongest start, push and finish. The built in engineering provides optimal torsional rigidity and energy return so you will feel incredibly light on your feet in the streamlined, featherweight design, while soaking up plenty of support to fire you down the track towards your new personal bests.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
