Fluidfit Seamless Upper
Seamless uppers will encase your feet in breathable comfort. Asics' Fluidfit upper technology combines multi-directional stretch mesh with stretch reinforcements that adapt to the foot, creating a truly customised, glove-like fit and therefore reducing in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free run, with minimal friction. A ComforDry sockliner cradles the foot with breathable, moisture-wicking ease; preventing the development of that distracting clammy feeling and keeping you cool and motivated. An external heel counter improves support by reinforcing the heel cup and anchoring the foot to the midsole; letting you and your shoes stay as one as you pound the pavements.
Fluidride, GEL Cushioned Midsole
Fluidride technology, a two layered midsole construction, features for a winning combination of cushioning and bounce-back. Propulsion Trusstic technology arrives in the form of a plastic shank on the outsole. Encompassing the effective Guidance Line, it is implemented to channel energy and supply forward propulsion. Asics' original stabiliser, the Trusstic System, was tweaked to help give runners that extra spring in their step. The Propulsion Trusstic System mimics the connective tissue in the foot by creating tension as the foot enters the propulsion stage. This changes the foot from a supple structure, for shock absorption through the heel strike and mid-stance, into a strong, unyielding lever to provide forward propulsion. Accordingly, the Propulsion Trusstic System helps to push the runner forward with each and every stride. Guidance Line technology remains the same; influencing the foot to encourage a natural, efficient stride plus reducing the risk of injury. A DuoSole Outsole completes the Asics Gel-Kinsei 6, supplying flexible and lightweight traction.
