Asics Gel-Noosa FF Women's Running Shoes
Revolutionary, innovative and contemporary. The Noosa has been reinvented with Asics' very own FlyteFoam technology for a more responsive and lightweight ride.
Air Mesh Upper
Mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforates in the fabric increase airflow; promoting a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The seamless construction features for an irritation-free fit, because we know how rubbing and blisters can ruin your day. Minimal melted overlays wrap the foot, working in concert with a traditional lacing system to provide a snug fit; reducing in-shoe slippage for a smooth, distraction-free ride. A moulded EVA sockliner exists for an extra layer of plush, step-in comfort; a treat for your feet on those longer distance days. The gripper tongue and heel allow for quick and easy on-and-off. Reflective details complete the upper, increasing your visibility to passing vehicles and keeping you safe on those late night road runs.
FlyteFoam Midsole
When it comes to the midsole, Asics play their ace card in lightweight cushioning: FlyteFoam. A generous layer of protection, bounce and comfort: it provides you with unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA, and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run; so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer, without the worry that your shoes might not be able to take it. Resilient and winning, FlyteFoam technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. Sitting beneath this pillowy platform, and complimenting its bouncy nature, is the rearfoot GEL Cushioning System. It works to reduce shock during the impact phase; sparing your joints as you sprint down onto unforgiving concrete, and allowing for a smooth transition to mid-stance.
Wet Grip Outsole
Impact Guidance System Technology is a technical design, based on the philosophy of the human body, that allows the foot to perform a more natural heel-to-toe movement. This technology is based on 3 priciples: Contact, MidStance and Propulsion. Asics' design philosophy employs linked componentry to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. A WET GRIP outsole completes the Noosa FF. When the ground is wet, the water layer between the outer sole and the ground reduces the contact area of the sole and causes slippage. Decreased grip not only degrades performance, but also causes injuries. WET GRIP is made from a special blend of organic and non-organic components, designed to enhance traction even on wet surfaces. The Noosa FF, giving you absolutely no excuse not to run.
