California Slip Lasting Upper
The upper of the Gel Rocket 8 has been designed using Asics innovative California Slip Lasting technology. With stability and support in mind, the upper is stitched around a canvas or EVA board and directly attached to the midsole. Therefore, your feet are kept supported which minimises injury as you pivot on the court. An open mesh material also makes up the upper, allowing air to circulate freely to your feet to keep them cool, dry and comfortable at all times.
Gel Midsole
A forefoot gel cushioning system works throughout the front of the midsole to enhance shock attenuation during propulsion. The performance of gel not only helps to make your chosen sport more comfortable, but also reduces the chance of injury from occurring when you play.
Trusstic System Outsole
A Trusstic System has been implemented into the outsole, and extends from the arch to the forefoot. The Trusstic System is a plastic shank that supports stable movements by reinforcing the middle part of the sole, and preventing the shoes from twisting, which can potentially cause injury. A rubber material for the outsole also allows you to grip the surface so that you can remain agile as you jump, land and pivot your way to success.
