An ortholite sockliner sits comfortably against the skin, resisting chafing as well as controlling the build-up of odours. Ortholite lasting features plush underfoot cushioning and comfort.
Solyte Midsole
Asics' signature Solyte technology resides in the midsole for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Solyte is a lighter midsole compound than standard EVA, ensuring a more cushioned feel without the unwanted bulk to hold you back. The enhanced cushioning also provides durability without sacrificing comfort or performance. Also featuring in the midsole is rearfoot GEL cushioning, to attenuate shock and impact when landing to reduce the wear and tear placed on the joints, thus, minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort.
Durable Rubber Outsole
A durable rubber compound comprises the outsole for optimal grip and traction. This helps to encourage a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions whilst providing a firm, assured footing to help you move with confidence. Guidance Line technology runs vertically through the outsole to enhance gait efficiency. The Guidance Line works by possessing vertical flex grooves which decouple the tooling along the line of progression, delivering a more comfortable, efficient run.
