Breathable Mesh Upper

The Mono-Sock Fit System, an internal elastic sleeve, replaces a traditional tongue to provide a 'sock-like' fit; sealing out kicked-up dirt and debris to let you tackle technical trails with zero distractions. Asics have seamlessly implemented a Boa Fit System to the Gel-Fujirado. Created to supply a firm and easily adjustable fit, it contains three integral components: an instant release dial for precision; lightweight and strong laces; and low friction guides to ensure a smooth closure. The system is lightweight and durable, designed for the trail environment and built to perform in muddy and wet conditions. Overlays compliment the Boa's secure fit; swathing the midfoot and heel to help anchor you to the midsole, reducing in-shoe slippage for smooth, uninterrupted strides.
SpEVA Midsole
A perforated sockliner lies atop a lightweight midsole to provide step-in comfort and increased breathability. Its pierced structure means moisture drainage is optimised and your feet stay cool. A length of SpevaFoam midsole material resides underfoot to improve bounce-back characteristics and decrease midsole breakdown; the added cushion produces a soft feel and improved comfort for an even, uninterrupted ride. Sitting beneath the SpEVA platform, and complimenting its bouncy nature, is the rearfoot GEL Cushioning System. This clever technology works to reduce shock during the impact phase; sparing your joints as you sprint down onto rocky terrain, and allowing for a peaceful transition to mid-stance.
AHAR Outsole
AHAR makes up the tread; placed in critical areas to cut down on excessive wear, it reinforces the shoe's trail-worthy state.
