A reflective logo completes the upper, splashed across the heel to increase visibility on low-light adventures.
SpEVA Midsole
SpEVA resides in the midsole to provide lightweight and resilient cushioning. Developed from a blend of EVA and rubber ball material, SpEVA improves rebound by 20%. This enhances performance by transferring energy absorbed from impact with the ground to the next step. A Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System sits under the heel to attenuate shock, sparing your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces and promoting a smooth transition to mid-stance. ASICS contrast their cushioning with the Duomax Support System. Implemented on the medial side, it helps to control pronation and reduce the risk of injury, enhancing stability and support over rough ground, without sacrificing light weight or comfort.
AHAR+ Outsole
A Trusstic System has been implemented to increase the shoe's torsional rigidity without adding weight. The lightweight structure sits under the arch to stop the shoe from twisting and causing injury as you hike over uneven, rocky terrain. An AHAR+ outsole completes the Gel-Nebraska; complete with a walking bevel and flex grooves, it supplies durable and adaptive grip across wet and dry ground.
