Mesh Upper
The GT-3000 5 makes every step count, helping your feet find the most efficient position straight out of the gate with its full mesh upper with key breathable placements allowing for heat build-ups to be dissipated quickly, leaving for a comfortable cool run. Stable synthetic overlays acting as support for the overall upper framework, with these in place wear and tear are diminished giving the shoe an extended lifespan and great structural integrity.
In addition, an exoskeletal heel counter provides improved support to the heel and creates an improved heel fitting environment. With the heel counter in place, the foot is locked into the shoe, preventing any slipping from occurring which in turn prevents irritation and hot spots from putting an early end to the session. A removable ComforDry sockliner provides cushioning performance and moisture wicking properties. The sockliner wicks excess moisture and transfers it to the outer layers of the fabric to keep the feet cool, dry and comfortable. Lastly, on the upper features 3M reflectivity that enhances visibility during low-light conditions, keeping the wearer seen on the roads.
FluidRide Midsole
FluidRide is the latest evolution in ASICS midsole technology. FluidRide provides the ultimate in bounce back and cushioning characteristics while being lightweight. The fluidRide works to attenuate shock and impact forces when heel striking whilst harnessing the energy that it creates. The midsole then transfers that energy to the forefoot where it helps push the wearer off into the next step. In addition, the shock is absorbed through the Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System. The GEL attenuates shock during the impact phase and allows for movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
The technology that makes the GT-3000 stand out is the Dynamic Duomax. the next generation DuoMax system provides greater comfort and enhances gait efficiency. The midsole compound prevents over-pronation saving your arch from collapsing and in turn saving the wearer from injury. Additionally, Extended forefoot Duomax provides unrivalled support to meet the needs of late-stage and midfoot overpronators.
AHAR+ Outsole
The outsole of the GT-3000 5 Running Shoes is constructed of a new Blown AHAR material. The AHAR delivers enhanced cushioning, durability and ride to the foot. added to this is a light AHAR sponge which is a blown AHAR rubber outsole material with high abrasion-resistant qualities for added durability, combined with a comfortable, cushioned ride.
The outsole is graced with a Guidance Trusstic System that integrated guidance construction for enhanced gait efficiency. The Trusstic System provides some midfoot structural integrity preventing any unwanted twisting or torsion. Lastly, the guidance line features within the outsole which is a vertical flex groove that decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.
