Berghaus Ramche 2.0 Down Jacket
The Ramche Down 2.0 Jacket sets a new standard in mountaineering insulation - delivering heat in the most efficient, lightweight package possible.
Providing the perfect balance of warmth to weight, the Ramche 2.0 jacket is your perfect winter weather companion. Constructed using Hydrodown insulation, the Ramche 2.0 maintains comfort and warmth allowing you to perform for longer. Hydrodown is both durable and hydrophobic; every cluster is treated with a water repellent coating which not only reduces the amount of water that is absorbed but also dries quickly once exposed to prolonged moisture. Unlike regular down, Hydrodown dries out quickly and recovers 80% of its loft allowing for peace of mind when the rain starts to fall. Innovative body-mapping techniques ensure efficient distribution of heat, putting warmth when you need it when you need it.
Additionally, a unique baffle construction eliminates cold spots along the seam lines ensuring a consistent warmth around the body. Whilst, aluminum mesh has been sewn into the core of the jacket to reflect your hard earned body heat back in, keeping you 10% warmer on those cold, blustery days. A low-profile helmet-compatible hood can be adjusted to provide a perfect fit for when the weather takes a turn for the worst. A stiffened microwire peak and internal strip prevent cold air entry over the top of the head to seal in the warmth. A full zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build up. Velcro cuffs allow for an optimum fit whilst a high collar prevent wind chill. Completing the Ramche 2.0 are two large hand pockets, an internal zipped pocket, and a stretch mesh pocket which can be used for safe storage.
