Hydrodown is both durable and hydrophobic; every cluster is treated with a water repellent coating which not only reduces the amount of water that is absorbed but also dries quickly once exposed to prolonged moisture. Unlike regular down, Hydrodown dries out quickly and recovers 80% of its loft allowing for peace of mind when the rain starts to fall. Hydrodown's effectiveness is boosted by precise body-mapping technology which distributes heat to where the body needs it most. Additionally, Pertex Quantum technology offers insulation at a significant weight reduction without sacrificing strength and abrasion resistance; the light and strong fabric allows insulation to have more loft.

Furthermore, a helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened microwire peak can be used to shield your face during harsh snowstorms and rainy weather. The dual hem adjustment creates a better fit, keeping valuable heat in whilst stopping cold air entry. A full zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build up. Completing the Extrem Micro 2.0 Down Jacket are two zippered hand pockets and a zippered chesy pocket which can be used to store essential items.
