About Boot Bananas
Designed by model maker Alex and her partner Phil, a climbing instructor, Boot Bananas were born out of their battle to banish the stink of Phil's rock shoes for good.
After attempting anything and everything to deodorise Phil's climbing shoes, they jumped the gun and fought the funk themselves. Wanting to avoid any synthetic chemicals they perfected their own powerful blend of natural deodorising salts and minerals, meanwhile Alex got to work creating a shoe friendly shape. Combining the salts and minerals with a yellow fabric she had a 'light bulb' moment and Boot Bananas were born.
Saving The World From Fruity Feet
Designed with the climbing shoe in mind, an optimum shoe friendly shape combined with creative fabric culminates in the Boot Banana. Fighting the funk, a blend of lavender infused scents and highly functional fabrics work to wick sweat away from the feet. The cotton fabric utilized within the design has a high porosity possessing the capabilities to absorb moisture, creating an altogether drier and more comfortable environment.
Combating sweat is an easy feat with the Boot Banana, a simple shake will release a fine mist of powder to speed up the drying process. Replacing the Bananas has been cleverly thought out, replacement will be deemed necessary as they slowly turn brown with more usage; when entirely brown they become saturated and need to be replaced.
