Brooks Defyance 10 Women's Running Shoes (2A Width)

Mesh Upper

Constructed using a breathable mesh upper, the Defyance 10 Running Shoes wrap the foot in lightweight support. Perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow throughout the construction whilst, at the same time allow hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. Synthetic overlays have been strategically placed across the foot which will offer support to key areas. Additional eyelets have been added to the upper lacing system which will allow the shoe to be lace locked. This is an easily adjustable fastening which will provide the wearer with a more stable and supportive fit.

BioMoGo DNA Midsole

Developed with Brooks DNA which is an innovative and uniquely adaptive cushioning system. By adapting to specific weight, pace, gait and running surface, DNA offers customised cushioning and adds a spring to your step. Traditional cushioning takes a one-size-fits-all approach, but we know that each runner is different. Brooks DNA was developed to continuously tailor the level of cushioning to specific needs - even as they change during the run. Additionally, with BioMoGo DNA which is DNA technology blended with the BioMoGo midsole to provide adaptive cushioning throughout the midsole vs. just in the heel and forefoot.

HPR Plus Outsole

HPR Plus rubber has been chosen to construct the outsole. This is a material which is highly resistant to abrasion and is super long-lasting. The rubber will help to protect the shoe and foot from possible sharp and damaging debris which could cause damage or discomfort. Blown rubber has been added to the forefoot area of the shoe as it is a more durable and grippy rubber. Placed in key areas, this will allow the shoe to offer stability and long-lasting grip. Omni flex grooves run along the full length of the outsole which increases the flexibility of the shoe. This feature essentially allows the shoe to move the naturally with the foot movements which will help to prevent the wearer feeling restricted.
