Engineered Air Mesh Upper

Constructed using an engineered Air Mesh, the upper of the Ghost 16 provides the optimal amount of stretch and structure to accommodate the movements of your foot and increase breathability. Perforations in the fabrication allow cool air to permeate, preventing an intolerable heat build-up and keeping your feet cool and comfortable. The mesh also actively and efficiently wicks away excess sweat and moisture from the surface of your skin, keeping you dry as you strive for the best results and performance. A lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane is bonded directly to the upper for a lighter, more flexible fit whilst supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A padded tongue sits comfortably to ensure optimum comfort and prevent irritation or rubbing, whilst a traditional lacing system provides a secure, locked-in feel as you run. Completing the upper are reflective details on the heel which enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

DNA LOFT v3 Midsole

Engineered using the new DNA LOFT v3 technology, the midsole of the Ghost 16 has more of this super-soft, nitrogen-infused cushioning to maximise softness. The DNA LOFT v3 cushioning carries the footwell and even moulds itself to the shape of the underfoot, allowing the platform to support the curvature of the underfoot. This cushioning and support helps to lessen the impact that is often placed upon your joints, and attenuates shock, minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort. Alongside this, a Segmented Crash Pad adds further cushioning and comfort by adapting to each footfall for a smooth, responsive ride to give you the confidence to run at your maximum level knowing you have ample cushioning to guide you through the gait cycle with optimal efficiency.

RoadTack Rubber Outsole

Comprising a mix of rubber and recycled silica materials, the Brooks Ghost 16 utilises a RoadTack rubber outsole for optimal grip and traction.
