Flexible Fit
Helping you find the perfect fit, the heart rate monitor uses a durable elasticated band that has a sliding buckle, for the best results this needs to be tightened until it feels snug. This is then secured by a velcro closure which also enables you to quickly remove the sensor to easily wash the band. Optical heart rate sensors work best when they're held securely against the skin. The band is designed to cradle the sensor flush against your arm to prevent external light from getting in to keep the signal quality strong, no matter your activity. This heart rate monitor is much simpler to wear compared to a chest strap. COROS has used a soft fabric band that lays flat around your arm and locks in place with its textured surface. The low-profile design prevents snagging on clothes or gym equipment, allowing you to forget you're even wearing it.
Connectivity and Battery
The monitor has built-in wear detection, when worn it automatically powers on and off so you don't drain the battery. Not only this but it allows you to automatically connect to your paired devices every time you start a workout. With a full charge this heart rate monitor has 38 hours of battery life or 80 days of standby on a single charge, the COROS Heart Rate Monitor is built to endure. The battery life can be viewed on the COROS watch or a magnetic cable quickly recharges the battery when running low. Designed to work seamlessly with your favourite COROS watches and app, it can also simultaneously pair with up to three devices, including non-COROS watches and other Bluetooth-compatible indoor trainers, bike computers and more.
