The Deuter Futura 26 SL Backpack is an athletic backpack or a functional top-loader for easy hikes or city trips. The backpack offers extreme comfort with a mesh back system which combines lightness, flexibility and freedom of movement with maximum ventilation.
Perfect for hill walking, hiking and city walking, the Deuter Futura 26 SL Backpack is constructed from Dynajin 210 and Deuter Super Polytex fabrics. these reinforced high abrasion materials are highly durable while remaining lightweight, protecting your belongings but not weighing you down. The SL back system features slimmer, more ergonomically curved shoulder straps and angled hip fins allowing a personalised fit.
The backpack also features Deuter's Aircomfort Back System. the shoulder straps are padded and contoured to fit the body perfectly while the hip wings are covered with air mesh fabric to provide ventilation and breathability. The specially designed mesh provides back ventilation as the hot air dissipates freely from three sides, ensuring you remain cool, dry and comfortable.
The back system offers four features that each when combined, create a superb experience. The agile active-fit shoulder straps fit comfortably through their self-acting adjustment to width and angle of the shoulder area. their ergonomic S-shape follows the shoulders and neck contours exactly while eliminating chafing and rubbing. Secondly, the back system provides carrying comfort through three-dimensional modelling analogous to the shape of the hips, while compact, ergonomic hip fins make little more weight possible with a pull-forward adjustment. they hug the hips without a gap through contact points that are close together while offering perforated foam for comfort and ventilation. Furthermore, the back system provides stabiliser straps that allow exact positioning of the rucksack, allowing the pack to sit close to the body to promote stability.
The futura 26 SL features a variety of pockets for safe and secure storage of essential items. Side spandex pockets provide easy storage for items you want close to hand, while side compression straps keep the pack compact even when full. The backpack also features an internal wet pocket, a feature that allows separation of wet and dry belongings.
