The lowest-volume, female-specific fit in our new Trail series, the Deuter Trail 20 SL Women's Backpack is the perfect pack for alpine hikers and climbers that need a close-fitting, ventilated pack.
Integrated compression straps have been incorporated in the Deuter Trail 20 SL Women's Backpack to allow for optimal volume adjustment and gear security, while comfort and load distribution are perfected with the Aircontact Trail backsystem. Two Aircontact pads in special breathable hollow-chamber foam distribute the load evenly. The Aircontact pads perform a pump effect, whereby every movement prompts the exchange of air, resulting in optimum back ventilation, with up to 15% less perspiration than with previous body-contour packs. ActiveFit shoulder straps and flat lid construction allows the head to have more than enough freedom to move, even with a helmet. Additional features include loops on the shoulder straps to attach carabiners, loops for an added helmet holder, pole attachments, and a two-way front zipper which allows quick access to buried gear. Stabiliser straps allow optimal positioning of the backpack and an anatomically formed hip fins for freedom of movement and body-hugging carrying added for extra comfort. An SOS label provides essential tips in case of an emergency while a detachable rain cover protects from the rain.
Flexible, tensioned Delrin® U-shaped frame provides stability with little extra weight. It follows the most varied movements with absolute ease. The frame combines with the body-hugging fit of the pack to create a comfortable yet compact carry system with even load distribution and effective load transfer.
