Deuter Groden 32 Backpack
Featuring the same classic styling and functionality as the Zugspitze models the Groden 32 has a larger capacity than the Zugspitze, making it the ideal choice for the year-round user who requires a little bit more carrying space through the winter months.
The pack is constructed from Deuter's Microrip Nylon fabric which is a 210 den Nylon fabric with strong ripstop threads and PU coating. This fine, lightweight, and yet abrasion-resistant nylon is optimal for lightweight backpack construction. Additionally, the pack is made from 600 den Polyester thread and with a thick PU coating. This multi-purpose fabric is robust and lightweight. The backpack features Deuter's Aircomfort Back System which offers padded shoulder straps that are contoured to fit the body perfectly while the hip wings are covered with air mesh fabric to provide ventilation and breathability. The specially designed mesh provides back ventilation as the hot air dissipates freely from three sides, ensuring you remain cool, dry, and comfortable.
The back system offers four features that when combined, create a superb and comfortable experience. The contoured, softly padded shoulder straps ensure excellent comfort by reducing the pressure caused by the weight of the pack which dramatically reduces the chances of chafing and skin irritation. Secondly, a durable spring steel frame provides a flexible and light structure and applies tension to the mesh to ensure lightweight structural integrity. Furthermore, a mesh back provides comfort and top-class ventilation allowing the hot air to dissipate freely from three sides. Lastly, the pads are constructed from ventilated bilaminate foam which increases comfort levels.
Additionally, double lid buckles allow extra gear to be securely stowed under the lid pocket, while two side pockets and a front pocket provide safe and convenient storage spaces for essential and valuable items that you may need to access quickly. Hiking pole loops also feature on the pack to allow you the use of trekking poles but more importantly allow you to stow them away when not in use, while an integrated detachable rain cover prevents the backpack and the items within from getting wet.
