Suede and GORE-TEX Upper
The upper of this shoe is made with highly durable suede that offers long-lasting, high-wearing performance and protection. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. The Dolomite Wrapping System Tongue ensures a secure, comfortable fit, while the rubber toe box protects from any bumps and scuffs on the trail. Completing the shoes is a slipknot lacing system for a locked-in feel that makes it easy to put on and take off.
Moulded EVA Midsole
Designed to provide comfort and protection on uneven terrain, the construction of the midsole uses varied thickness EVA foam. The EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, absorbing shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, adding spring to your step. A Hypertex insole has been added to increase flexibility and help reduce weight.
Vibram Crossover Outsole
The outsole of the Crodarossa Low uses a combination of Vibram Crossover and Megagrip Vibram rubber compound. This team provides you with unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces whilst ensuring an optimal balance of stability and flexibility. This sole has been designed for both climbing and hiking on a wide range of terrains no matter the weather.
