Hydromax Upper
Constrcuted using Dyneema bonded leather, the Ecco Exostrike Walking Boots ensure a lightweight yet robust finish for all winter wear. The leather upper keeps the feet protected from debris and sharp objects as well as minimising the risks of wear and tear. The super-thin leather has a high endurance level to bring you tear-resistance and unbelievable strength without compromising quality or the true feeling of leather. Hydromax has also been used on the upper to provide added weather protection. The treatment ensures your feet remain comfortable and dry in wet and rainy conditions so you can continue with complete confidence. he upper has also been warm-lined with revolutionary Primaloft insulation which works to keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable at all times. Primaloft microfibre insulation works to keep you toasty and warm on wet weather days. The insulation is excellent as trapping in escaping heat to ensure your feet remain warm in the coldest of climates. A hidden lacing system exists to provide a locked-down fit around the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides whilst a TPU toe cap provides added protection agaisnt the elements. Completing the upper is a prosoma TPU heel counter ensures structured support that still allows for plenty of ankle expansion. Promoting a natural fit, the counter promotes optimal movement of the Achilles while still providing ample support. The heel counter helps to stabilize the ankle and reduce excess movement from in the shoe reducing the risks of repetitive injury.
Phorene Midsole
Within the midsole, an ultralight PU phorene composition increases shock absorption and comfort by provides a plush underfoot feel. Sparing your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, the midsole ensures you can go further for longer. By inundating shocks, phorene works to protect you when striking down and also disperses the shocks to propel you forward. Phorene also provides ample cushioning to ensure a comfortable hike, the midsole follows the natural contours of the foot provide a dynamic fit and feel. As well as this, Fluidform has been used within the midsole to enhance flexibility so you can continue with quality and comfort. Anatomically designed to fit perfectly, the Exostrike has been constructed using ECCO's own 3D last that follow the natural contours of the foot to increase overall comfort. Fluidform technology forms a comfortable base around the shoe that ensures optimal support and improves cushioning so you feel comfortable on all adventures.
Michelin Rubber Outsole
The outsole of the Ecco Exostrike Walking Boots has been constructed using a winter specific Michelin rubber to ensure increase traction on varied terrain with everchanging weather conditions. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're hiking or out for a leisurely stroll in the local park. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. As well as this, a tyre inspired tread design provides added grip and has self-cleaning characteristics that withstand snowy and icy conditions.
