Yak Leather Upper

Constrcuted using a Yak leather crafted in Ecco's own tanneries the Ecco Biom C-Trail offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The leather upper keeps the feet protected from debris and sharp objects as well as minimising the risks of wear and tear. Yak Leather is highly robust, abrasion-resistant yet highly breathable allowing you to remain cool and comfortable at all times. The breathable nature of the fabric increase ventilation ensuring your feet can breathe easy as you power through on hot and humid days. As well as this, the leather offers a soft hand feel and excellent stretch and return traits. A sporty textile lining has also been used in the upper to provide increased comfort and breathability. The soft nature of the fabric sits comfortably agaisnt the skin whilst also ensure ample airflow so your feet have a perfect microclimate to thrive. Ecco's unique Biom X-Tensa technology has been used on the midfoot of the upper to ensure a secure and supportive fit. Biom X-Tensa Technology extends over the bridge of the foot for a secure fit, reducing space between your foot and the shoe to save you energy. Ensures strength and support the X-Tensa in the midfoot unites with the lacing system to provide a locked-down fit. Completing the upper is a fast lacing system which allows for quick and easy adjustments on the go.

Phorene Midsole

Within the midsole, an ultralight Phorene composition increases shock absorption and comfort by provides a plush underfoot feel. Sparing your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, the midsole ensures you can go further for longer. By inundating shocks, phorene works to protect you when striking down and also disperses the shocks to propel you forward. Phorene also provides ample cushioning to ensure a comfortable hike, the midsole follows the natural contours of the foot provide a dynamic fit and feel. Fluidform has also been used within the midsole to enhance flexibility so you can continue with quality and comfort. Anatomically designed to fit perfectly, the Biom C-Trail has been constructed using ECCO's own 3D last that follow the natural contours of the foot to increase overall comfort. BIOM technology has also been used within the midsole to promote natural movements through anatomical support.
