Five Ten Dragon VCS Climbing Shoes

Take on steep climbs with power and friction. These shoes are built for sensitivity and a snug fit for technical routes. An aggressive downturn and asymmetrical toe box maximise power for routes with demanding edging. The shoes have a Stealth HF rubber outsole that maintains high friction for smears and hooks. The hook-and-loop closure allows for easy entry.

Suede Leather Upper

Constructed using a suede leather upper, the Five Ten Dragon Climbing Shoes ensure the perfect balance of structure and stretch. Designed to provide the right amount of support for uncompromising climbs this upper ensures a glove-like fit. The fabric conforms to the shape of the foot to provide a perfect fit that minimises in shoe-slippage; because a precise fit is necessary when climbing. A microfibre lining ensures next to skin comfort and is highly moisture wicking. The lining moves moisture away from the skin for quick evaporation so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. An extended toe rand runs around the edge of the shoe to provide added protection from loose debris and terrain plus, it increases toe hooking. Completing the upper is a velcro which ensures a locked-down fit for added midfoot support.

Soft Midsole

The midsole of the Dragon Climbing Shoes is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel. The soft midsole ensures a level of cushioning that doesn't compromise on sensitivity by incorporating a blend of support and responsiveness. Increased sensitivity is important when climbing as it allows you to get a feel of the rock or ground beneath you before committing. The increased sensitivity allows you to feel changes underfoot without experiencing discomfort. Additionally, the midsole also uses adidas' drainage system which allows water to escape from inside the shoe on wet days.
