The jacket uses Gore's revolutionary technology ShakeDry to repel water away from it. In addition to the waterproofing and repelling benefits, ShakeDry is also windproof, very packable and maintains the wearing comfort in a broad range of weather conditions. This makes it perfect to take on days out cycling or running when you have limited space in your bag, as you can quickly brandish it when the weather turns, or put away quickly if it is too warm.
Visibility is increased by reflective prints and logos, and additionally there are high-visibility panels on the arm, making night-time riding or running a lot safer. An adjustable collar with a velcro strap means that you can feel the perfect tailored size just for you, or if you just want to change the collar size to let air in and out. A two-way zipper similarly makes it easy to tailor, as well as opening or closing it when you want to cool down or warm up. The zip has a reinforced hem surrounding it, which makes it easier to use, as well as improving the strength and heat retention of it. Elasticated hem bordering frees up the movement of the shoulders, which will give you the confidence to move your upper body without the risk of ripping the jacket. At the bottom of the sleeves, it is also elasticated, making it sit comfortably on the wrists, whilst also acting as a block for cold air. A rear zippered pocket means that you can carry small valuable items out with you.
