Gore R3 Windstopper Classic Jacket

Constructed using GORE's signature windstopper fabrication, the R3 Windstopper Classic Jacket provides excellent weather protection. The Gore Windstopper membrane is an ultra thin protective layer which is laminated to a lightweight textile layer, making it totally windproof. It is made of the versatile polymer PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) which is expanded to create a microporous structure. These micropores are 900 times larger than water vapor molecules, allowing perspiration to pass through unhindered. The totally windproof, yet extremely breathable membrane blocks the wind and allows vapor to escape. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind's chilling effect while reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. A durable outer fabric treatment provides you additional protection of water repellency, so you will be ready for whatever the weather throws at you.
A form fit is designed to be slim fitting but not too tight, it ensures a sporting silhouette without hugging the body so your movements remain unrestricted. A full length front zip exists for complete temperature control, in colder climates, it can be worn up to seal in heat or when the temperature begins to rise it can be worn down to increase ventilation. An elastic drawcord at the waist can be adjusted to create the perfect fit and further seal out the elements from entering the jacket from below, whilst sleeve cuffs with extended wrist flaps and velcro closures prevent weather entry at the sleeves. Zip pockets allow you to store your running essentials, whilst reflective details improve your visibility in low-light conditions.
