The Gore R5 Insulated Jacket provides super lightweight protection from wind and cold with breathable, quick drying POLARTEC Alpha Insulation.
Made with GORE-TEX Infinium fabric, the R5 Insulated Jacket is totally windproof and delivers maximum breathability to keep you comfortable in cool and windy weather conditions. The totally windproof, yet extremely breathable membrane blocks the wind and allows vapour to escape. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind's chilling effect while reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. The durable outer fabric treatment provides you with the additional protection of water repellency, helping to keep you dry too. Polartec Insulation provides warmth, helping you retain heat whilst you're on the go. The bottom hem is adjustable thanks to a drawcord, which allows you to create a streamlined fit that will help to prevent heat from escaping and the cold from getting in. A close-fitting hood provides extra coverage and protection when you need it, whilst the full zip allows you to control ventilation and allows for easy on and off. The transparent fabric on the outside with a Windstopper liner gives an eye-catching look, fluid feel and negates the need for a mid-layer. Stretch inserts at the hem and cuffs provide extra freedom of movement where you need it, for maximum comfort. Side zip pockets provide storage space for small essentials, whilst reflective details help to keep you safe in low-light conditions.
