Additionally, an allied down material retains warm air, preventing it from escaping to further assist the Primaloft technology. The jacket also boasts a DWR rating, meaning water repellency properties enable the jacket to keep you protected from the surface water when it rains. While the jacket is extremely light in weight, it delivers optimum performance with a 40D down proof fabric for extreme comfort and a nice, cushioned feel without sacrificing quality. Rounding off the protective features is an inner wind-fly, situated behind the front zip which blocks out the wind and has a top rollover to protect the face and avoid any unwelcome discomfort such as chafing or soreness.
Store your valuable items in the two dump pockets which provide ample carrying capacity. The pockets are ideal for nutrients, money, cards and any orienteering equipment such as a pocket map or compass. Further hand pockets contain a YKK low profile reversed coil zip and is suitable for items you may need more regularly which are easily accessible. Located on the sleeves is an adjustable velcro cuff, ensuring you find the optimum fit and can either tighten or loosen the sleeves using the aforementioned velcro. A dropped back hem construction adds protection while the reflective Helly Hansen logo at the left chest and back left shoulder improves safety and visibility in low light conditions.

For the perfect fit, simply adjust the hood using the cords located at the side which lock in place once you have found the right setting for you.
