A two layer construction combines merino wool with Helly Hansen's signature Lifa technology to ensure an abundance of comfort and warmth. The 100% Merino Wool exterior is soft against the skin and works hard to ensure long lasting comfort and warmth. Merino not only works to keep you warm by trapping heat within its fibres, it also manages moisture to keep you comfortable and dry at all times. Merino is also naturally very moisture wicking, ensuring that moisture is not stuck between the two layers and forces it to the outer layers where it can be easily evaporated. As well as thi, thr Merino is also naturally anti-microbial preventing the growth of odour causing microbes, keeping your gear smelling fresher for longer. Within the construction, Helly Hansen's signature Lifa Technology works by actively and efficiently wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture, leaving your skin feeling dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Furthermore, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your skin to thrive. The non-itch construction works with flat-lock seams to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation. Completing the top is a half-zip construction which ensure ample ventilation to keep you comfortable at all times. In colder conditions the zip can be worn up to seal in escaping heat or, when temperatures rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up.
