Haglofs L.I.M Low Walking Shoes
This is the first shoe we've made with a monosock construction, giving it a foot-hugging fit that makes it an extra-light choice for great performance on shorter hikes. As a result, it's right at home in our L.I.M range - where every extra ounce is discarded, but all of the functionality and durability remains.
Monosock Construction
The monosock construction of the L.I.M ensures that your feet are given a close fit that makes it an extra-light shoe for great performance. A rubber toe and inner heel counter have been added to protect both ends of the feet ensuring that the upper is extremely durable keeping your feet safe. Stabilising synthetic leather has been added to the sides of the upper to keep the feet in place whilst on the move ensuring you remain well balanced. The lacing holes have been supported with eyelets ensuring that laces easily go through creating a stress-free experience. A finger loop has been added to the heel of the upper allowing you to easily put on the L.I.M's and take them off.
Solyte Midsole
The Solyte Midsole is constructed from a spongy material, sitting between the sole and the upper, it is designed to help improve cushioning, lowering overall weight and decrease breakdown. The cushioning compound will actively reduce forces pressed upon the underfoot for a clean stride through a transition. It should keep the foot stabilised as it falls through to midstance and propels you back out with an explosive take off. The L.I.M is also fitted with GEL rearfoot cushioning for good shock absorption. They are made from fatigue-proof silicone material resulting in a consistently high inertia of the GEL components when subjected to pressure. The material's inertia stabilises the roll-over movement upon first ground contact. Furthermore, a monosock-construction increases comfort levels allowing you to perform at your best for longer.
AHAR+ Outsole
Developed using Asics High Abrasion Resistant Plus rubber compounds on the heel area of these shoes, the outsole offers high levels of durability to protect against rough terrain. This material has an abrasion resistance around three times higher than the average rubber, making it ideal for the trails. An engineered stud pattern also improves the traction, allowing you to grip on a variety of surfaces both wet and dry.
