The Roc GORE-TEX Jacket is designed with the main objective being to keep you dry in the most extreme of all conditions. This is achieved by having an extremely effective and highly functional GORE-TEX membrane inserted in between the layers of material. This blocks the entry of all moisture to the inside of the jacket. By doing this, the skin and other items of clothing are kept dry within, so when the rain is falling heavily you will have a shield to stop you from getting damp and cold. Despite sealing all moisture out, the jacket will still allow air to flow in and out of it for breathability. This will mean that as you warm up and become more active, the jacket will allow a steady flow of air to enter and exit the jacket. This will mean that your temperature will be maintained, keeping you focused on the trails ahead. The GORE-TEX membrane not only provides you with protection from the rain, but it will also shield you from the wind. This will be especially effective in exposed spots, where the wind will be deflected away from you to keep you comfortable inside the jacket. The jacket can easily be adjusted with cords that can be secured to match your fit. This will allow it to work with the rest of your kit, allowing you to carry a backpack, or mountaineering equipment without any discomfort. A full-zip down the front of the jacket can easily be secured and adjusted for a comfortable fit. Inside the jacket, it also has a storm flap. This will ensure that wind is sealed out of the front of it. A soft garage at the top of the zip will guarantee that you won't feel any discomfort from rubbing and chafing on your chin. Ergonomically designed with raglan sleeves, this will allow you to make a wide range of movements without any restrictions. This will mean that you will always be able to combine walking with climbing and other upper body movements without anything to stop you or hold you back. The jacket has easily secured zipped pockets, which will make it easy to quickly access them when needed, and keep them protected when not needed. The cuffs can be adjusted to seal in heat, as well as opened up to allow more air in and out, giving you the option to keep your arms temperature regulated. A fully covering hood with a peak on it will allow you to find effective shelter from rainfall. The peak can also be moulded into a shape that will encourage moisture to run off it. Within the jacket, there are flat-lying seams, which will reduce the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing. The jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester, making it a green and sustainable alternative to other jackets.
