A jacket designed to protect you from all-weather, the Astral Gore-Tex Jacket features weatherproofing fabrics and treatments to help you tackle the elements on any adventure. Kicking off the jacket is a tough 2-layer Gore-Tex outer which provides that jacket with longevity due to its abrasion-resistant nature and provides you with protection against wet, windy and snowy weather conditions. The waterproof nature of Gore-Tex repels water and wet weather conditions, keeping you feeling dry and comfortable even during harsh wet weather. Windproof, the fabric also prevents the wind from penetrating through, avoiding the feeling of windchill on your skin, providing you with a continuous warming and comfortable feel. The weatherproofing is also enhanced thanks to a PFCEC Free DWR treatment that has been added to the jacket, heightening the waterproof and windproof abilities of the garment. Ventilated for activity, the jacket is lined with a breathable mesh which helps to remove unwanted intolerable heat, replacing it with cooler fresher air for the ultimate comfort feel. Moisture-managing, the lining also wicks away sweat and excess moisture enabling it to evaporate quickly, for a dry fresh feel during active days.
Constructed for adventures, the jacket allows a full range of movements with articulated sleeves and is also fully adjustable giving you that perfect fit. The hem of the jacket is dropped at the rear providing you with added coverage, allowing you to move freely with continuous coverage and protection. Providing extra weather protection, the jacket is fitted with a full-length front zip with velcroed over storm flap helping to seal in warmth whilst also keeping out wet and windy conditions. This added weather protection can also be seen in the adjustable cuffs, allowing you to tighten the cuffs for a more secure fit. The jacket is fitted with an adjustable hood, allowing you to adjust the fit of the hood to help combat the elements and conditions that you may face. Magnifying the ventilated feel, the underarms are fitted with pit zips including water repellent zippers that give you the option to increase the ventilated feel; great for when temperatures start to rise.
