Haglofs Ridge GT Walking Shoes

Comfortable Upper
As durability is an essential factor in the Ridge GT's, an Ecsaine heel collar lining gives extra comfort and durability on the inside of the shoe. Adding further protection to the shoes are the tongue gusset which stops water and sand from entering the shoe making sure you don't need to worry about anything getting inside your shoes. GORE-TEX have extended the comfort for the Ridge GT by adding breathable waterproofing making sure your feet are well ventilated and kept dry.
Cushioned Midsole
Perfect for any hike, the Ridge GT provides you with maximum support with a SpevaFoam midsole improving cushioning for the feet and a comfortable bounce back to keep you on the move. Rear foot cushioning is key whilst hiking as a lot of pressure will be put on the heels of your feet. With the GEL rear foot cushioning, excellent shock absorption is provided taking the majority of the pressure off the feet. A trusstic chassis provides you with stability and torsion control for motion guidance so that no terrain is too much for you.
Durable Outsole
Maintaining stability is essential, this means having the correct outsole with a lot of traction and durability is important. There are three key features of the outsole on the Ridge GT; WET GRIP Rubber, Moulded Rubber and AHAR Plus. WET GRIP Rubber is a compound which provides you with extraordinary traction, even in wet condition, providing you with that anchor you need on tough terrain. The Moulded rubber is split into two parts, a reinforced toe and a rubber heel, both of these give you increased protection and durability keeping your feet safe whatever the conditions. Finally, AHAR Plus is a high abrasion resistance rubber developed by Asics providing you with further durability on the heel of the outsole. The is vital as most often the heel is the part of the foot which is anchored first meaning maximum traction is required to reduce the risk of slipping and an injury occurring from this.
