GORE-TEX active is also super breathable and provides excellent moisture management; the fabric allows a steady airflow which works to keep the body feeling cool and comfortable. The fabric works to wick sweat away from the skin for quick evaporation. Haglofs have incorporated a Fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment into the construction of the Skarn Hybrid Jacket to provide optimal weather protection by resisting both the water and the wind. The treated surface also adds durability by strengthening the material for damage caused by dirt or debris. A close-fitting hood can be used to provide added protection when the weather takes a turn for the worst whilst an elasticated hem and cuffs can be adjusted to provide a perfect fit. A full zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build up. Two mid-mounted hand pockets provide ample storage for your essential items. Engineered with Bluesign Approved fabric the jacket works towards a solution for sustainable textile production, following environmentally friendly and safe production standards to help protect the environments that you love to explore. Finally, the jacket sports reflective detailing allowing you to be seen in low visibility settings.
