Dri-Tec Upper

The upper of the Hi-Tec Wild-Fire Low Walking Shoes are constructed with both suede and mesh. Suede offers fantastic durability and comfort, while the mesh parts ensure air-flow throughout the shoe, keeping your feet feeling cool and dry at all times. Equipped with Hi-Tec's i-shield which is an invisible protective layer which repels water and dirt with ease, keeping your shoes looking brand new. Another technology used on the upper is Dri-Tec which offers superior waterproofing and excellent vapour transmission to keep your feet dry and comfortable even in the wettest environments. Designed with adjustable 3D non-slip laces, it helps to keep your foot in place by offering a personalised fit. Don't worry if you get caught out in the dark, as the Wild-Fire Low features a reflective heel webbing for visibility in low conditions. A moulded chassis is located at the heel which locks it in place, providing a secure fit when walking across varied terrains. Lastly, with a reinforced moulded toe cap, it offers protection from loose or sharp rocks you might encounter on your walks. Keeping comfort at the highest, a gusseted tongue helps to keep loose debris out, preventing the risk of discomfort, and lastly, a padded collar and tongue offers additional levels of plush comfort.

XLR8>> Midsole

Located in the midsole is an Ortholite Impression insole with a slow recovery foam that delivers superior cushioning and long-lasting comfort. Embedded in the midsole is a lightweight, durable fork shank ensuring the flexibility and stability you need when on the trails. The midsole uses Hi-Tec's latest technology which is 10% lighter than regular EVA. XLR8>> technology provides 10% greater rebound and 10% better energy absorption when compared to regular EVA.

MDT Outsole

The outsole utilises multi-direction traction (MDT) outsole which delivers the perfect balance of traction, protection, and durability. The chamfered lugs allow dirt to be released quickly, improving traction on wet and other types of terrain. Forward lugs are angled to encourage propulsion whilst rear lugs are angled to encourage breaking. The lugs are open up in flex points to allow better flexibility while reducing foot fatigue at the same time, allowing you to finish off your walk in comfort.
