Hoka Stinson Mid GORE-TEX Women's Walking Boots
Combining exceptional mountain performance with an attractive and stylish design, the Hoka Stinson Mid GORE-TEX Women's Walking Boots will keep you in control on the trails. A breathable GORE-TEX membrane will provide durable waterproofing to keep you in complete comfort no matter what.
GORE-TEX Upper
Surrounding the upper of the Stinson Mid is a GORE-TEX membrane which will provide you with effective waterproofing. The membrane sits in the middle of the upper, sealing out all moisture to prevent it from entering and causing any discomfort. Whilst it blocks all moisture out, it will still allow a flow of air in and out of it to provide you with exceptional breathability and ventilation. Moisture from sweat is still able to escape, which will keep you in constant comfort. The upper is made from waterproof Nubuck leather, which will provide another barrier for moisture that the surface is exposed to. This will also wick the moisture away, keeping the boots feeling lightweight. This will also give you a stylish and attractive look. Surrounding the toes and the heel is thicker material which will provide effective protection, which will prevent any injuries from any bumps and knocks from occurring. A traditional lacing system with eyelets and loops will guarantee a secure fit all the way up the feet. The durable ripstop gusseted tongue will provide you with additional midfoot lockdown, as well as making the shoes tougher. An anatomically designed moulded foam collar will provide additional ankle support, reducing the risk of injury, irritation from chafing and improves overall comfort.
CMEVA Midsole
The full-length Compression Moulded EVA is placed in the midsole, providing impressive cushioning, added stability and increased impact protection. The midsole of the Stinson ATR 4 also uses the Active Foot Frame technology to increase responsiveness and feedback by allowing the foot to sit deep into the midsole. This has made the shoe highly adaptable to a wide range of running styles and foot shapes.
Hoka's Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculptured outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, to encourage a guided gait cycle. This design supports the runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. Styles with a Late-Stage Meta-Rocker have the transition zone placed in front of the metatarsal heads, which provides a more stable base of forefoot support.
Podular Outsole
The podular outsole design is primarily functioned to provide stability, especially on difficult and unpredictable terrain such as trail running. Having the stability on uneven terrain will enable you to run with confidence and style knowing your body will be secure and the potential risk of injury or strain should be diminished in the process. 4mm lugs provide all-terrain traction to give you the grip required to conquer the trail.
