Hoka Elevon 2 Running Shoes
The Hoka Elevon 2 features a new sleek design, offering a smoother and softer ride thanks to an extended heel, flex grooves in the forefoot and PROFLY midsole.
Lightweight Engineered Mesh Upper
Hoka have used a lightweight, engineered mesh in the construction of the upper to offer a comfortable fit and maximum breathability. The mesh actively and efficiently wicks away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to leave your feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, the mesh encourages cool air to circulate, creating a cooler, drier environment for your feet to thrive in. A padded tongue offers exceptional comfort with a nice, next-to-skin feel as well as guarding against friction and irritation such as chafing. The traditional lacing system ensures your feet remain secure inside the shoe with a locked-in feel. Reflective detailing has been added to the shoe to ensure the wearer remains safe and visible as they train in possible lower lighting conditions.
PROFLY Midsole
PROFLY provides a softer cushion in the heel for soft landings and a springier foam in the forefoot for a responsive toe-off. The midsole guarantees optimal cushioning and comfort with each and every stride. It improves comfort, performance and responsiveness to deliver plush underfoot cushioning with ample reinforcement to lessen the impact placed on the joints during exercise. This significantly reduces the wear and tear, as well as minimising the potential risk of injury. The active foot frame in the midsole is deeper for added support.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The crystal transparent rubber provides a clean and stylish aesthetic. Durable rubber compounds have been placed in the outsole of the Elevon to add durability as well as optimal grip and traction. The rubber has been strategically placed in various zones to offer a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions in addition to flexibility. To give the Elevon 2 more cushion underfoot and smoother transitions, designers have extended the heel and added some flex grooves in the forefoot for increased flexibility during toe-off.
