Engineered Jacquard Mesh Upper

Constructed with an open, engineered mesh the Hoka Mach 4 offers a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort, flexibility and breathability. By allowing cool air to flow throughout the upper, the Mach removes an uncomfortable heat build-up to ensure a healthy environment for the feet to thrive in. Striking the perfect balance between support and flexibility the engineered upper allows the foot to flex naturally whilst still providing a snug and comfortable fit. Heat pressed TPU embroidered yarns also exist on the upper to provide increased durability and support. The overlays help to create a supportive and comfortable fit for all-day wear. A refined collar shape that alleviates pressure on the Achilles whilst a pull tab allows for an easy on and off. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

ProFly Midsole

Developed using Hoka's signature ProFly midsole technology, the Mach 4 Running Shoes keep the feet comfortable and supported at all times. PROFLY is a dual-density midsole made using rubberised foam that aims to give you a forgiving landing and a responsive toe-off. This has meant that HOKA have used softer cushioning in the heel and firmer foam in the forefoot to ensure you land comfortable but push off quickly. PROFLY attenuates shock to reduce the impact placed upon the joints, thus minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort. The cushioning is firmer in the forefoot for propulsion and energy return, creating additional responsiveness to improve your performance. The aim of PROFLY was to make for an even lighter and resilient ride to support you as much as possible when you're running. As well as this, an early-stage Meta-Rocker geometry is applied in the midsole to increase running efficiency. Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This design supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. The midsole ensures a smooth ride from the moment you step in till the moment you step out.

Rubberised Foam Outsole

A flexible and durable outsole complete the Mach 4. Rubberised foam is used to enhance responsiveness, increases traction and ensure high rebound cushioning. The foam outsole ensures lightweight responsiveness so you can go further for longer which a shoe you can truly rely on. The durable rubber outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of different terrain over a long period of time. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position. The Mach's sole also helps to eliminate excess rubber on the outsole which in turn reduces overall weight.
