Hoka Cielo X MD Unisex Spikes
When ripping around the track at dizzying speeds, a fast spike is a prerequisite for performance. Engineered with a propulsive carbon fibre plate and designed in accordance with World Athletics' guidelines, the Cielo X MD is geared for middle distances (800m-3K).
Engineered Mesh Upper
Engineered using a breathable mesh material, the upper allows air to circulate freely to the foot, therefore, increasing the ventilation and keep your feet cool in the process. Not only this, but the upper has a breathable fast-drying performance build for ultimate comfort in-shoe. The shoes have a ventilated air-flow design, for the best breathability. Alongside this is an engineered mesh tongue, therefore preventing irritation and chafing. Finishing off the upper is a traditional lace-up system, ensuring the feet stay locked in and prevent in-shoe slippage.
CMEVA Midsole
A compression EVA midsole resides throughout the shoes, providing you with a perfect amount of cushioning for middle-distance events, for keeping your foot closer to the ground and utilises a firmer material for efficient push-off. A non-moulded EVA sock liner can be easily removed from the shoes, for your own preference comfort. Alongside this, is a meta-rocker which is a proprietary technology that combines a low heel-toe drop and a traditional rounded sole rocker. This combination complements your natural stride and promotes a healthy running gait.
Pebax Spike Plate
The Cielo X MD Spikes have 4 spikes with a carbon fiber plate, for traction and support during your training or competitions. Having the strategically placed spikes will enable you to run with comfort and confidence, knowing you have the stability to push yourself to the limit and achieve the best results possible. Ideal for middle distance, the spikes are highly durable and long-lasting to provide optimal grip and traction on the track.
