Lace Knit Upper
Engineered specifically for middle distance racing (800m-3K), Hoka have employed an ultra-light, lace-knit upper for a breathable, race-ready fit. This breathable upper material allows air to circulate freely to the foot, therefore, increasing the ventilation and keep your feet cool in the process. Finishing off the upper is a traditional lace-up system, ensuring the feet stay locked in and prevent in-shoe slippage.
Super Critical Foaming Midsole Process and 6-Pin Pebax Spike Plate
Utilizing a new, super critical foaming process combined with a slightly stiffer Pebax spike plate, this new iteration delivers a snappier, faster ride. This snappier, new foam in the midsole provides you with a perfect amount of cushioning for middle-distance events, for keeping your foot closer to the ground and utilises a firmer material for efficient push-off. The Cielo X 2 MD Spikes have 6 spikes with a more finely tuned carbon fibre plate, for traction and support during your training or competitions. Having the strategically placed spikes will enable you to run with comfort and confidence, knowing you have the stability to push yourself to the limit and achieve the best results possible. Ideal for middle distance, the spikes are highly durable and long-lasting to provide optimal grip and traction on the track.
