Hoka Bondi 8 Running Shoes (2E Width)
One of the hardest-working shoes in the Hoka lineup, the Bondi 8 takes a bold step forward this season. Reworked using soft, lighter foam, and a brand-new extended heel geometry. Taking on a billowed effect, the rear crash pad affords a soft and balanced ride.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Constructed with an open, engineered mesh the Hoka Bondi 8 offers a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort and flexibility, whilst remaining highly breathable. Allowing cool air to permeate the fabric, uncomfortable heat build-up is removed creating a healthy environment where feet can thrive. Not only this, but the construction of the shoes uses recycled contents, meaning the Bondi 8's have an updated, more sustainable shoe that takes a step up from their predecessors. An Ortholite Hybrid sockliner adds to the comfort for feet to thrive, and a partially gusseted tongue prevents irritation or chafing from occurring. A precise internal collar foam additionally provides you with comfort and prevents irritation from occurring, providing your ankles with a soft encasement and heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off. To keep feet locked in and secure when wearing the shoes, the Bondi 8s have a traditional lace-up closure.
Lightweight Foam Midsole
To enhance cushioning through every step of your training, the shoes have an all-new lightweight, resilient midsole foam construction. This will provide your feet with an excellent level of comfort when you strike down, protecting your joints and preventing injuries. The foam midsole is long-lasting, to ensure you have a reliable shoe, and with extended heel geometry and billowed grooves in the crash pad, you are ensured to have a smooth, balanced ride from the heel strike to the forefoot transition. The heel pull tab on the back of the shoes assists you in putting the shoes on.
Durabrasion Outsole
To provide you with enhanced grip and traction on varied terrain, the Bondi 8 utilises a Durabrasion Outsole. These shoes have even more rubber coverage than the Bondi 7's, making them durable, grippy shoes that will keep you on your feet even when the conditions change. The zonal rubber placements throughout, help to keep the shoe lightweight, whilst further ensuring they are also durable.
