Cordura Textile Upper
Providing you with protection and support, the Transport has a Cordura abrasion-resistant textile upper. The highly durable materials work to keep your feet shielded from knocks and bumps and protect the shoes from scuffs, for a long-lasting reliable pair of shoes. Wrapping around your foot comfortably, the uppers provide you with a secure, locked-in fit. The upper is highly breathable to ensure your feet remain cool and comfortable, even during the more intense parts of your hike. A quick-toggle lace-up system allows you to get the best possible fit, quickly and easily. The shoes have 360-degrees of reflectivity, helping to enhance your visibility when hiking and walking in low-light conditions. Completing the upper is a topically applied PFC-free water-repellency treatment to provide optimal water-resistant protection, keeping your feet comfy and dry.
EVA Midsole
A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsoles of Transport Walking Shoes employ a 30% sugarcane EVA, providing you with sustainably minded cushioning.
Vibram EcoStep Natural Outsole
The Transport utilises a Vibram EcoStep Natural Outsole construction, which is an innovative and green solution for your outsole materials. This sustainable outsole utilises more than 90% natural ingredients, whilst still providing the outstanding properties of your typical Vibram outsole. The outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of different terrain over a long period of time. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position. Completing the outsole are flex grooves which encourage multi-directional movements.
