Ultra-Lightweight and Breathable Upper
The upper of the Hoka Tracer running shoe is extremely lightweight with a ultra-breathable forefoot mesh which reduces water retention and ensures ventilation to the feet, keeping them feeling cool and comfortable. With a lightweight, no-sew TPU overlay construction and a flat lacing system, they will reduce irritation to the feet, giving the wearer the upmost comfort they desire. Equipped with a form-fitting heel construction, it will provide a secure, plush fit around the heel to prevent slipping, locking it in place for a comfortable fit. To provide extra cushioning, an ortholite insole is located in the shoe which offers the ultimate in comfort, cushioning and breathability. They solve the most common in-shoe problems by creating a cooler, drier and healthier foot environment with innovative technology.
Meta-Rocker Midsole
Equipped with the meta-rocker midsole geometry which is specifically designed with a low heel-to-toe differential and a sculptured outsole in the heel and toe. It creates a unique fulcrum effect like a rocking chair for your foot which encourages a guided gait cycle. This unique feature is designed to support a runner's natural form while encouraging an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. Also featuring Pro2Lite which ensures a softer heel for added cushioning and a firmer forefoot for propulsion. Pro2Lite technology fuses propulsion and protection to provide a fast and comfortable ride. The shoe also has a sculpted arch pod in the midsole to ensure long-lasting support to the foot.
RMAT Outsole
RMAT is a blended rubber EVA which maintains many of the comfortable and smooth-riding properties of Hoka's original foam but also brings useful new properties such as high elasticity which exhibits greater levels of rebound than traditional foams for higher levels of running performance. It also provides fantastic durability whether the runners go long or hard, RMAT will break in gradually, taking a pounding and keep bouncing back. Lastly, it ensures supreme grip as it latches onto angled, wet, uneven surfaces for a fast and reliable ride. Also on the outsole, strategic rubber placements are provided for lightweight durability.
