Hoka Cielo X 3 LD Running Spikes

A tip-of-the-spear product geared for athletes, the freshly revamped Cielo X 3 LD elevates the distance racing experience with upgrades underfoot and a fresh new upper. A medially raised plate design with a TPU traction element adds snap and stability to the newly upgraded PEBA midsole.

Woven Jacquard Upper

Engineered specifically for long-distance racing, the Cielo X 3 LD features a woven jacquard upper. The upper allows air to circulate whilst simultaneously releasing hot, muggy air at the same time, leaving your feet cool, dry and comfortable. A thin, breathable performance tongue has been included to reduce pressure on top of the foot and provide next-to-skin comfort. A super sleek collar increases comfort and reduces rubbing and irritation when you run and finally, a traditional lacing system helps lock the midfoot down and reduces in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.

PEBA Midsole

Hoka has utilised a full-length PEBA foam to create the midsole. The foam has the perfect amount of cushioning for anything from 3000 metres to 10K and every distance in between. The foam is lightweight and springy providing you with high energy return and responsiveness, helping you to spring into each step, pushing you to hit those PBs. Not only does this push you forward for quicker times but it also absorbs shocks and negative impacts as you strike the track, by doing so this reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. The spikes also feature a carbon fibre plate to help increase propulsion for excellent energy return so you're able to push further for longer and has been raised medially to increase stability.

Four Spike Composite Plate

Hoka has employed a composite plate that provides a snappy, propulsive sensation that pushes you forward with each step increasing your speed whilst reducing the weight of the spike for a faster feel. Strategically placed spikes will enable you to run comfortably and confidently, knowing you have the stability to push yourself to the limit, the spikes are ideal for long distances and highly durable and long-lasting to provide optimal grip and traction on the track. Completing the outsole is a TPU shark skin traction element which helps to further enhance grip and traction on the track.
